Okay, so I know I haven't really posted anything since the state pageant. I thought things would slow down after that weekend, but I was totally wrong. I feel like my life has gotten busier!
The 2010 state pageant was wonderful! I have uploaded some pictures and will recap the entire night when I can sit down and really reflect on it. For me it was a very bittersweet weekend, but I had a wonderful time with the contestants, fellow titleholders, judges and staff! It was truly a wonderful event. Stephanie Anello (Mrs. Tulsa) was crowned the new Mrs. Oklahoma and she is an amazing lady with a wonderful platform of Diabetes Awareness. She is already doing wonderful things as Mrs. OK and I can't wait to see what her year holds! You can visit her web site at www.stephanieanello.com.
A little over a week after the pageant, I traveled with my daughter and parents to visit my husband. He is recently completed Bootcamp for the Army reserves and we traveled to Fort Benning, GA for his graduation ceremony. It was wonderful to be together as a family after being a part since January 4th. We are so proud of him!!! We only got to spend a couple days together because he was required to report to Officer Training School on March 21. He will remain there until June. Check out my photo album for pictures from our time in Georgia!
This weekend is another busy one... I am attending the Tremaine Dance Convention here in Tulsa. It has been one of my favorites since I was a child and can't wait to spend some time IN dance class instead of teaching dance class! Even teachers need to be refreshed!
I promise to write more about the state pageant and some upcoming appearances I have. Thank you for your support as I continue to spread my message and create awareness about PPD. God Bless!!!!
